About this product

The Steriflip®-GV filter unit is designed for sterile vacuum filtration of aqueous solutions, eliminating the need for liquid transfer by integrating directly with a 50 mL centrifuge tube. Simply attach the unit to the sample-containing tube and apply a vacuum—the filtrate collects directly into the attached 50 mL tube for easy processing and storage.

Key Features & Benefits:

  • Integrated design eliminates liquid transfer steps, reducing contamination risk.
  • 0.22 μm PVDF membrane ensures high-performance filtration of biological fluids and tissue culture media.
  • Vacuum-assisted filtration enables fast and efficient processing.
  • Compatible with standard 50 mL centrifuge tubes, minimizing additional materials and handling.
  • Ideal for sterilizing small batches of culture media, buffers, and biological solutions.
  • Can isolate cells from debris using various nylon net filters with different pore sizes.

Applications (For Research Use Only):

  • Sterile filtration of tissue culture media (with or without additives), buffers, and biological fluids.
  • Used in research, including:
    • Preparation of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).
    • Sterilization of solutions such as BSA, papain, dispase, DNase mix, and glucose solutions for tissue culture.
    • Filtration of clarified supernatant in HIV-1 fusion assays.

The Steriflip®-GV unit provides a simple, efficient, and contamination-free filtration solution, streamlining sample preparation while maintaining sterility.
