Refund Policy

We understand that buying and selling unused, short expiry, or excess life science consumables and equipment requires trust and transparency. This policy outlines the conditions under which you can receive a refund on your purchase.

Important Note: You are purchasing from other sellers through Wasteless Bio. We act as a platform for facilitating these transactions. As such, the products you receive may be second-hand and not directly from the original manufacturer.

Eligible Reasons for a Refund:

  • Improper Storage: If you can demonstrably prove the product was not stored according to the manufacturer's instructions, potentially compromising its functionality or safety. This requires providing evidence such as temperature logs, humidity readings, or packaging inconsistencies.
  • Significant Damage: If the product arrives damaged and the damage significantly differs from the seller's description and is not caused by improper shipping. Minor scratches or cosmetic imperfections are not considered grounds for a refund. 

Non-Refundable Purchases:

  • Products as Described: If the product arrives in the condition described by the seller.
  • Buyer's Remorse: You are responsible for ensuring the product you purchase meets your needs. Refunds will not be granted for buyer's remorse.
  • Improper Use: Damage caused by improper use of the product after purchase is not refundable.

Refund Process:

  1. Contact the Seller: If you believe you are eligible for a refund, first contact the seller directly to attempt to resolve the issue.
  2. Submit a Refund Request: If unable to resolve the issue with the seller, you can submit a formal refund request through our online portal within 14 days of receiving the product.
  3. Provide Evidence: You must provide clear and convincing evidence supporting your claim, such as photos, temperature logs, or communication with the seller.
  4. Review and Decision: Our team will review your request and the seller's response. We will notify both parties of the decision within 10 business days.
  5. Issuing Refunds: If your refund is approved, we will issue the full purchase price (excluding shipping costs) back to your original payment method.

Additional Notes:

  • We reserve the right to deny refunds if the evidence provided is inconclusive or insufficient.
  • This policy applies to all purchases made through Wasteless Bio.
  • We encourage all sellers to provide accurate and detailed descriptions of their products.
