High-Flux Centrifugal Devices for Rapid Protein Concentration and Buffer Exchange

Thermo Scientific™ Pierce™ Protein Concentrators PES are disposable centrifugal devices designed for efficient concentration, desalting, and buffer exchange of biological samples with a 100K molecular weight cutoff (MWCO). Featuring a high-flux polyethersulfone (PES) membrane, these concentrators deliver rapid processing, excellent recovery, and broad instrument compatibility.

Capable of handling sample volumes from 0.5 to 100 mL, these devices are ideal for protein and nucleic acid concentration, especially for molecules ≥200K in molecular weight. The vertical membrane design ensures low non-specific binding, minimal aggregation, and consistent results. Each unit includes a graduated clear window for visual volume tracking and an etched MWCO label for easy identification.

Compatible with standard microcentrifuge rotors (excluding 88537), these concentrators allow 10- to 30-fold concentration in ≤15 minutes without the need for invert spinning.
