About this product
Next Advance PR1MA Bead Lysis K Kit
Description
PR1MA BP-compatible bead lysis kits provide pre-filled tubes for homogenising and disrupting biological samples before downstream laboratory processing. The range includes configurations for microorganisms, bacteria, soft and hard tissue, seeds, grains, organs, and wet or dry tissue. Each configuration pairs a tube format and bead composition with designated sample types, supporting selection for different matrices. The kits are compatible with Precellys systems and commonly used Precellys protocols.
Key Features
- Pre-filled tubes contain specialised beads for sample homogenisation and disruption.
- Configurations use screw-cap or reinforced screw-cap tubes with bead compositions selected for designated sample types.
- Tubes are certified RNase- and DNase-free.
- BP-compatible format supports use with Precellys systems and commonly used Precellys protocols.
Applications
- Homogenising and disrupting microorganisms, including tough microorganisms.
- Lysing bacteria, including bacteria in soil.
- Processing soft tissue, hard tissue, organs, and combined soft and hard tissue.
- Preparing seeds, grains, and dry grains for downstream laboratory processing.
- Processing wet or dry tissue samples.
Specifications
- Tube format: 2 mL screw-cap or 2 mL reinforced screw-cap, according to kit configuration.
- Compatibility: BP-compatible with Precellys systems and commonly used Precellys protocols.
