About this product

Agela Technologies TLC Silica Plates

Description

Agela Technologies TLC Silica Plates are used for thin-layer chromatography to separate, purify and detect sample components. Samples are applied to the silica layer and developed with a solvent; differences in migration help users compare components and assess mixtures. The product range supports analytical and preparative TLC workflows across pharmaceutical, chemical, biochemical, environmental and forensic applications.

Key Features

  • Silica stationary-phase plates are available with ordinary, deactivated and amino-bonded silica options.
  • G, GF254, H and HF254 formats support different analytical and visualisation requirements.
  • F254 formats can show fluorescence under 254 nm UV excitation, helping visualise compounds without UV absorption.
  • Analytical and preparative formats are available for small-sample separations and larger preparative separations, respectively.

Applications

  • Qualitative or quantitative detection of components in pharmaceutical, chemical, biochemical, environmental and forensic research and production.
  • Separation and purification of tetracyclines, peptides, nucleosides, lipids, sugars and alkaloids.
  • Analytical comparison of sample components and preparative isolation using the appropriate TLC format.

Specifications

  • Separation mode: solid–liquid adsorption chromatography.
  • Silica particle size: 5–20 μm.
