POROS™ HQ 50 µm bulk resin (10 L) delivers exceptional performance for low-pressure, large-scale bioprocessing. Designed with a quaternized polyethyleneimine functional group, it provides high-capacity binding for the efficient separation and purification of diverse biomolecules. Its High Performance Chromatography™ (HPC) approach utilizes polystyrene-divinylbenzene beads engineered with both large “through pores” and smaller “diffusive” pores, minimizing diffusion distance and allowing convective flow to transport sample molecules directly to binding sites. As a result, flow rates can soar between 1000 and 5000 cm/hr—far higher tha the typical 50 to 360 cm/hr range for traditional media—without compromising resolution or binding capacity.
