The Sartobind STIC® PA Cassette (0.8 L, 4 mm bed height) is a next-generation salt-tolerant interaction chromatography (STIC) device designed for high-capacity removal of process-related contaminants during monoclonal antibody (mAb) and biotherapeutic downstream processing. Engineered with a primary amine (PA) ligand on a regenerated macro-porous cellulose matrix, this membrane exhibits exceptional binding capacity in high-salt environments—eliminating the need for dilution after cation exchange (CEX) steps.
Optimized for flow-through anion exchange chromatography (AEX), the 0.8 L cassette integrates seamlessly into modular systems up to 100 L total membrane volume, offering a scalable, pod-like solution that combines disposable simplicity with column-like throughput. Ideal for host cell protein (HCP), DNA, endotoxin, and virus clearance, the STIC® PA cassette supports up to 30 bed volumes/min, accelerating process development without compromising yield or quality.
