Sartolab RF Vacuum Filtration Units are single-use devices for sterile vacuum filtration of laboratory samples, including cell culture materials, media, buffers and reagents. The RF format includes a receiver flask, while operation requires connection to an external vacuum source. Vacuum draws liquid through the membrane, allowing the filtrate to collect in the receiver flask while retained particles remain on the membrane.
