About this product
BD™ ELISPOT Human IFN-γ ELISPOT Set
Overview
The BD™ ELISPOT Human IFN-γ ELISPOT Set is a research-use-only reagent set designed for enumeration of individual human cells secreting interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) using the ELISPOT (enzyme-linked immunospot) technique. Based on a sandwich immunoassay format, the set provides high-affinity capture and detection antibodies, streptavidin-horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and uncoated ELISPOT microplates sufficient for multiple assays, enabling sensitive detection of IFN-γ-producing cells in vitro. The reagents are optimised for flexibility, allowing manual coating of capture antibodies and subsequent development of coloured spots representing single secreting cells.

Applications
This ELISPOT set supports high-sensitivity analysis of cellular immune responses by enabling detection and quantification of IFN-γ secreting lymphocytes or other effector cells in human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or cultured populations. Spot enumeration can be correlated with functional assays and phenotyping workflows such as flow cytometry, proliferation assays or cloning studies, making it suitable for immunology research and vaccine evaluation.
