Centrifuge Bottles
Ideal for low-speed centrifugation processes, these 250 mL Nalgene™ centrifuge bottles are designed for lipid and phenol extractions, digestions, and precipitations in laboratory settings.

Material: Translucent FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) providing excellent chemical resistance.

Temperature Range: Suitable for use from -100°C to +150°C.

Closure: Tefzel™ ETFE screw cap ensuring a secure seal.

Dimensions: Height: 126.5 mm; Diameter: 60.0 mm.

Packaging: Available individually or in cases of six.

Chemical Resistance: FEP construction offers outstanding resistance to most acids, bases, and organic solvents.

Temperature Versatility: Can withstand extreme temperatures, making them suitable for various laboratory applications.

Leakproof Assurance: For enhanced leakproof performance at maximum speeds or when handling hazardous materials, use with polypropylene sealing cap assemblies (DS3131-0038).

Compatibility: When spinning the 250 mL bottle in a Sorvall GSA rotor, the use of the Nalgene centrifuge bottle adaptor (DS3125-0250) is required.

Filling Requirement: To ensure proper performance, bottles must be filled to 100% of their total capacity during centrifugation.

Autoclavable: Bottles can be autoclaved; however, before autoclaving, completely disengage threads or remove the closure to prevent pressure buildup.
