Human CD300c / LMIR2 Protein, His Tag
A premium recombinant reagent for immunological research. Also known as CLM-6, CD300 antigen-like family member C, CMRF35-A1, and IgSF16, this protein is a member of the CD300 family and contains a single Ig-like V-type domain. It plays a key role in the regulation of cytokine secretion in plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) and is indistinguishable from CD300a on natural killer cells. Notably, its expression is downregulated in pDCs upon stimulation with TLR7 and TLR9 ligands and further suppressed by exogenous interferon-alpha, influencing the cross-regulation of TNF-alpha and IFN-alpha secretion.
Engineered with a C-terminal polyhistidine tag for streamlined purification, this protein has a calculated molecular weight of 18.7 kDa. Under reducing SDS-PAGE conditions, glycosylation causes it to migrate as 26–43 kDa, ensuring robust performance in a variety of assays.
