IsoFast Bst Polymerase
Description:
IsoFast® Bst Polymerase is a DNA polymerase with significant strand displacement activity, making it ideal for various nucleic acid amplification techniques. It is particularly well-suited for whole genome amplification, multiple displacement amplification, and isothermal amplification methods. The enzyme is a recombinant form of the large fragment of Bst DNA polymerase, engineered to retain 5'-3' polymerase activity while lacking 5'-3' exonuclease activity. It performs optimally at 65°C but demonstrates functionality across a broad temperature range (55°C-70°C) and is inactivated at 80°C.
The IsoFast® Hot Start Bst Polymerase & Mixes variant integrates AptaLock™ hot start technology, ensuring superior specificity and sensitivity for isothermal amplification workflows, LAMP applications, and point-of-care testing scenarios. This version minimizes primer dimer formation and non-specific target amplification.
