EZTest® Biological Indicators.

The EZTest® Biological Indicators are self-contained biological indicators designed for monitoring sterilization processes using steam, ethylene oxide (EO), hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂), or propylene oxide (PPO).

Specifications

• Sterilization Methods: Compatible with steam, EO, H₂O₂, and PPO sterilization.

• Carrier Type: Uses filter paper or stainless-steel disc carriers, depending on the sterilization method.

• Culture Medium: Soybean casein digest medium with a pH color indicator that turns yellow when spores grow.

• Incubation Time:

  • Steam, H₂O₂, PPO: 24 hours at 55–60°C.

  • EO: 48 hours at 35–39°C.

• Spore Type:

  • Steam, H₂O₂, PPO: Geobacillus stearothermophilus.

  • EO: Bacillus atrophaeus.

• Packaging: Available in packs of 25 or 100 indicators.
