GrpE (E. coli), (recombinant)
Overview
Recombinant GrpE (E. coli) is a 24 kDa cochaperone that assists DnaK/Hsp70 in protein folding, transport, disaggregation, and activation of partially folded proteins. GrpE facilitates ATP-dependent release of substrates from the DnaK/DnaJ complex and can transfer them to GroEL/ES for final folding.
