Description

The Sartorius Vivaspin 20 is a centrifugal ultrafiltration concentrator for processing 5–20 mL samples. It concentrates macromolecules and supports desalting, buffer exchange and diafiltration through a membrane-based separation step. The device can also be used with optional equipment for pressurised ultrafiltration or continuous diafiltration.

• Vertical membrane orientation supports crossflow during centrifugation and is designed to reduce membrane polarisation and fouling.
• Concentration factors of up to 400× can be achieved with one filter.
• Optional pressure equipment enables pressurised ultrafiltration when fitted.
• An optional diafiltration cup supports continuous diafiltration with Vivaspin 20.
