About this product
TPP TubeSpin Bioreactor
Description
TPP TubeSpin Bioreactors are disposable vessels for culturing suspension cells and microorganisms in small-volume, parallel experiments. Cultures can be grown and centrifuged in the same vessel, reducing transfers before pelleting or downstream processing. The vessels support static or shaking culture and are suited to screening and optimisation studies involving suspension cells, bacteria and yeast. Their single-use format also helps streamline setup compared with reusable glass culture tubes.
Key Features
- Supports screening and optimisation of suspension-cell culture conditions relevant to production scale-up.
- Enables culture and direct centrifugation in the same vessel.
- Suitable for suspension-cell, bacterial and yeast cultures under static or shaking conditions.
- Disposable format avoids washing and sterilisation steps associated with reusable glass culture tubes.
- Conical-bottom versions support pelleting, while applicable configurations provide adjustable openings for ventilation control.
Applications
- Screening and optimisation of suspension-cell cultures, including immune and insect cell workflows.
- Starting small suspension-cell cultures directly from frozen stocks.
- Parallel cultivation of bacteria such as Escherichia coli, yeast and other microorganisms.
- Mini-preparations, small-scale screens and downstream workflows requiring culture followed by direct centrifugation or pelleting.
Specifications
- Working volume: 1–35 mL.
- Sterile and gamma irradiated.
- Manufactured from optically clear plastic.
