Sartorius Vivacell 100
Description
The Sartorius Vivacell 100 is an ultrafiltration concentrator for laboratory processing of macromolecular samples. Its crossflow spin-filter design supports ultrafiltration and diafiltration, concentrating retained molecules while solvents and salts pass through the membrane. It can be operated by centrifugation or gas pressure, allowing the processing method to match available equipment and sample needs. A single filter can provide concentration factors up to 400-fold. The device is suited to concentration, desalting, buffer exchange and polishing workflows.
