About this product

Sartorius Incucyte Clearview Microplate for Chemotaxis

Description

The Sartorius Incucyte Clearview Microplate for Chemotaxis is an optically clear membrane plate for label-free imaging and analysis of chemotactic cell migration and invasion with Incucyte Live-Cell Analysis Systems. Cells are added to the upper chamber, while chemoattractant is placed in the lower reservoir to create a migration gradient. The plate supports visual monitoring in the incubator and automated assessment of cell movement through its membrane.

Key Features

  • Maintains a stable chemotactic gradient for over 72 hours.
  • Uses 1,000–5,000 cells per well, supporting assays with rare, expensive or primary cell populations.
  • Automatically collects images from the top and bottom sides of the membrane at user-defined intervals.
  • Supports label-free workflows or workflows using fluorescent reagents.
  • Provides automated analysis when used with the Incucyte Chemotaxis Analysis Software Module.

Applications

  • Chemotaxis migration and invasion assays.
  • Chemotactic transendothelial migration assays.

Specifications

  • Format: 96-well microtiter plate.
  • Membrane: optically clear with 96 laser-etched pores, each 8 µm in diameter.
  • Surface and sterility: tissue-culture treated and sterile.
  • Compatibility: validated for Incucyte Live-Cell Analysis Systems; requires the Incucyte Chemotaxis Analysis Software Module.
