Sartorius Incucyte Caspase-3/7 Dye for Apoptosis is a mix-and-read live-cell reagent for detecting and quantifying caspase-3/7-mediated apoptosis. Its DEVD recognition motif is linked to a DNA-intercalating dye; cleavage by activated caspase-3/7 releases the dye, producing fluorescent nuclear-DNA staining. When used with an Incucyte Live-Cell Analysis System and software, it supports real-time evaluation of cell death while addition to healthy cells is described as non-perturbing to cell growth and morphology.
